Power is inextricably linked with our lives. It connects people and families, fuels economies and supports the safety and security of communities around the world. In 2018, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and USGBC Kentucky partnered to promote how states can support local energy needs through the development of resilient and reliable energy infrastructure.

By using PEER, Kentucky was able to evaluate its performance against industry best practices and identify areas of improvement across three unique power systems: a municipal utility, a rural electrical cooperative and Fort Knox.

See how Kentucky is working to measure and improve power system performance and meet the needs of its residents and communities.
