Ascendas is the first IT Park in the world to achieve PEER Gold certification in 2018 under version 2 of the rating system. The International Tech Park Chennai (ITPC) is a joint venture between Ascendas-Singbridge and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO). Located along Chennai's IT Corridor, Ascendas ITPC is a 15-acre hi-tech IT park encompassing three buildings (Pinnacle, Crest and Zenith). The park accommodates over 45 leading IT and ITES companies.

Using PEER has not only helped Ascendas to quantify their savings, but to also demonstrate a strong case for reliable operation and resilient infrastructure. Annually the project has achieved an energy savings of 1.1 million units and mitigated 1500 tons of CO2 emissions and a cost savings of INR 12 million (USD $200,000) through the energy efficiency measures and integration of solar PV system.
