<p>As demand for highly sustainable and resilient energy systems increases, developers, energy managers, businesses and local leaders are in constant need of tools that can keep up with market demand. Join us for a workshop on how Washington, D.C. hopes to improve the city’s energy grid through a renewed microgrid implementation strategy.</p>
<p>Throughout the day, hear from key decision makers and stakeholders within the energy sector on improvement methods including the <a href="http://www.peer.gbci.org" target="_blank">PEER</a> rating system, a tool for developers, regulators, city agencies, energy companies and owners as they assemble individual plans and larger citywide plans for energy systems. You will also engage in a Q&A and small-group activities.</p>
<p>We are proudly supported by Urban Ingenuity, advisor to other microgrid development efforts in the District of Columbia and Mid-Atlantic region, and currently exploring the feasibility of microgrids across the District in a study supported by the District Department of Energy and Environment’s Green Building Fund.</p>
