<p><a href="https://greenbuildexpo.com/Attendee/Schedule/SessionDetails/38475">LD02 - Performance Excellence in Electricity Renewal (PEER) Fundamentals</a>, Monday, Oct. 3 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm<br />Take our PEER Fundamentals course and understand a set of design elements, best practices and performance measures that empower electricity stakeholders to achieve a higher level of system performance to assess reliability, resiliency, power quality, and safety performance of power systems.</p>

<p><a href="https://greenbuildexpo.com/Attendee/Schedule/SessionDetails/39552">Open… Plenary: International Summit</a>, Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 9:00-10:00 am<br />A Smart and Sustainable City requires alignment between the key pillars of the city: Energy, Infrastructure, Investment, Government, and People. This panel brings together global leaders from these different perspectives, to share how they are implementing Smart and Sustainable solutions at the city scale. We will also explore how these different stakeholders measure and monitor performance outcomes, which contribute to the strength and resiliency of a city.</p>
<p><a href="https://greenbuildexpo.com/Attendee/Schedule/SessionDetails/39543">CL16 - Designing for Shocks: Prioritizing Resiliency through LEED, SITES & PEER</a>, Thursday, Oct. 6 from 10:15-11:15 am<br />There still remain some questions about how to implement conceptual elements of resiliency on the ground in real world projects. The LEED, SITES and PEER rating systems provide the answers to these questions for project developers. This session will explore how from building level to city level, SITES provides a metrics based approach to ecosystem services and resiliency on land, PEER can protect critical facilities against power outages and create shelters of last resort, and how projects can utilize LEED to protect their building against a variety of shocks.</p>
<p><a href="https://greenbuildexpo.com/Attendee/Schedule/SessionDetails/39539">CL17 - Emerging Sectors: Warehouse, Distribution and Data Centers</a>, Thursday, Oct. 6 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm<br />This session will look at how business has shifted to the cloud and to e-commerce and how USGBC and the building industry have responded to this opportunity with specific examples of LEED-certified and PEER-certified projects such as green data centers, warehouse and distribution, etc. Hear from experts that include PEER partner, S&C Electric’s David Chiesa, responsible for expanding the reach of services in the renewables, energy storage, and microgrid segments amongst others.</p>
<p><a href="https://greenbuildexpo.com/Attendee/Schedule/SessionDetails/38674">G14 - PEER - Recent Developments and Key Opportunities</a>, Friday, Oct. 7 from 8:00-9:00 am<br />This session will help you become familiar with the applications of the PEER rating system and provide insight into how best to utilize PEER and solve common problems. How can you integrate PEER into your own work? Let our experts tell you what we’ve been doing and where we are going.</p>

PEER will be presenting its annual <a href="http://peer.gbci.org/origins-peer-and-bob-galvin-award-video">Galvin award</a>, presented to an individual with outstanding achievement through progress in the energy industry.</p>
